IMF clears $1.337-bn payment of 3rd, 4th tranches of Bangladesh's loan
The IMF has approved a $1.337 billion disbursement of the third and fourth tranches of Bangladesh's $4.7-billion loan programme. Its executive board also cleared an augmentation of special drawing rights (SDR) worth 567.19 million for the Extended Credit Facility and Extended Fund Facility, and a six-month extension. Programme performance for the third and fourth reviews was broadly satisfactory.
