Heavy rainfall crimps Afarak’s South African output, but Türkiye ops fare better
LSE- and Nasdaq-listed Afarak Group has reported a 15.2% year-on-year increase in production for the first quarter of this year, despite production at its South African chrome operations having decreased by 26.8% year-on-year. During the first quarter, Afarak’s speciality alloys production reached 26 961 t, up from 23 411 t in the first quarter of 2024.
