Here, time-strapped elite travelers can indulge in a thoughtfully crafted three-course menu served in under one hour without compromising on quality or experience from 2pm until 9pm. As part of the ‘lounge within a lounge’ concept, guests can also enjoy full access to the adjacent Delta Sky Club, which features six shower suites equipped with plush towels, bathrobes, slippers, and premium Grown Alchemist bath products—providing a luxurious and refreshing experience.

Paying homage to Boston’s storied maritime history, the 121-seat restaurant and bar is shaped like a grand ship deck complete with nautical hues of marine blue and bronze infused throughout the banquettes, dining chairs, and custom carpet, a mesmerizing custom-designed sail ceiling that doubles as a conversation starter, and the centerpiece is a nautically-inspired bar paying homage to The USS Constitution, also known as “Old Ironsides,” the world’s oldest commissioned naval warship still afloat in the Boston Harbor. “We want our customers to forget they are in the airport when they enter a Delta One Lounge,” expresses Claude Roussel, Vice President of Sky Clubs and Lounge Experience for Delta Air Lines. “The BOS Delta One Lounge is our most intimate lounge at 6,700 square feet and makes you feel like you just scored a reservation at the most exclusive restaurant in the city. This lounge features one of the best views of any lounge in our network, as you can enjoy beautiful views of the Boston skyline while you dine.”

Reflecting on the three-course menu, Chef Ed Brown states “From the start, I knew seafood had to be at the heart of the menu—a delicious tribute to Boston’s rich maritime heritage. The menu features elevated takes on beloved classics like crab cakes, chowders, and lobster rolls. For those craving something beyond seafood, we included dishes like a heart of palm cake or an expertly prepared Snake River skirt steak with chimichurri. To finish, nothing beats the sweet masterpieces that celebrate Boston’s culinary roots, such as the cannoli or the Boston cream pie.”

The lounge features an open-kitchen concept resulting in every dish being made to order, ensuring each bite is as fresh and flavorful as possible. “The menu is designed as a three-course experience, but unlike a traditional fine-dining setting, we know our guests are on a set schedule,” remarks Brown. “This creates an exciting challenge – crafting dishes that are not only delicious and memorable, but also fit seamlessly into a traveler’s limited time. The result is a menu that delivers bold flavors, impeccable hospitality, and a refined experience, all without compromising efficiency.”

When asked about his favorite ingredient, Chef Brown doesn’t hesitate and states “My favorite has to be cod. It’s incredibly versatile with its firm flaky texture and subtle sweet flavor. It works well with a range of cooking methods, from pan-searing to roasting, and adapts easily to different seasonings and ingredients. The cod Milanese on the menu is a great example of an elevated classic.”

When asked what a ‘must-try’ dish for first-time visitors to the lounge would be, Chef Brown quickly responds “Without a doubt, the loaded New England shellfish chowder. Packed with the freshest seafood, it’s a true taste of Boston and the perfect dish to start your journey with us.”

The warm Maine Lobster roll drizzled with garlic butter is also a comforting and memorable New England seafood staple. No meal is complete without a tribute to Boston’s sweet traditions such as the Boston Cream Pie with its rum-soaked sponge and glossy chocolate glaze making it a crave-worthy treat along with the equally rich and delicious Cannoli with ricotta mousse and candied oranges.

To complement the meal, the lounge offers an impressive array of complimentary beverages with a nod to Boston, including the ‘North End Espresso Martini’ paying homage to Boston’s famed Italian district and infused with crop organic vodka, vanilla bean, Cafe Borghetti Coffee liqueur, Buffalo Trace Bourbon cream, Espresso, and Tcho organic cocoa powder along with the ‘Beantown Bramble’ made with Ford’s Gin, Nino Franco Rustico Prosecco, Organic Agave, fresh lemon, and simple syrup. Wine lovers will also appreciate selections like the Cambria Chardonnay from Santa Maria Valley and the Argyle Bloom House Pinot Noir from Oregon’s Willamette Valley. For beer enthusiasts, try New England local favorites including the Maine Beer Company’s Lunch IPA and Allagash White Belgian-style Witbier. For those seeking a mocktail option, try the refreshing Carrot Pomegranate Spritz—a sparkling blend of carrot ginger juice and pomegranate.

“With the openings of our Delta One Lounges at JFK, LAX, and now BOS, our goal has been to craft unique spaces that reflect each host city’s character in the food, design, and overall experience, all while maintaining our unwavering commitment to quality and premium service,” says Roussel. Our strategy remains the same for our next Delta One Lounge at SEA, which will open this summer. After SEA, we are working on bringing Delta One Lounges to more cities including ATL in the coming years.”
