Exporta are delighted to once again be supporting the Loch Leven half-marathon in Kinross. The event, which starts next to Exporta’s northern distribution centre, has a hugely positive impact on the local community every year helping to provide funds for various projects such as the installation of defibrillators at crucial points in the town, support for the local first responder team and the installation of an access lift at the local rugby club.
This year, Exporta are once again hosting the toileting facilities for the event at their distribution centre as well as sponsoring the runners event t-shirt. With the race starting right outside Exporta’s site, the team are very excited for what will prove to be a fantastic community day and will be there to cheer on the runners at the start line.
Head of business services at Exporta, Shona Laing, explained how important this event is to the company. ‘We are delighted to once again be sponsoring the Loch Leven half-marathon. Supporting charitable organisations is a vital part of who we are as a business and the opportunity to get involved with such an important local cause is fantastic. Unfortunately, we don’t have any competitors in this year’s race however the team will be cheering on everyone on the day, and we hope to have an entrant or two in 2026!’

Alongside supporting this fantastic local event, two members of the Exporta team are taking on the Rob Roy Mighty Hike in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support. Brothers, Connor and Marc Hunter will be dusting off their walking boots for the event in August and have the full support of the Exporta team.
