The main problem with any season of The White Lotus is that you, the viewer, are not there.
While the lives of these affluent travelers aren’t so enviable, what with all the murder, the fictional luxe resort chain is set among the world’s dreamiest beaches. The show’s third season, filmed largely at the Four Seasons Koh Samui, shows off the pristine Gulf of Thailand while skewering the out-of-touch outsiders who flock there on their extremely expensive wellness journeys. As always, alcohol plays a large part in the antics.
The FOMO is real, even if the resort is not, so we rounded up bright and sunny cocktails that give major White Lotus vibes. Some of these cocktails are officially tied to the show, while others incorporate Thai ingredients that feature prominently at the ultra high-end resorts of Koh Samui.

Lychee Martini
This season launched alongside a “White Lotus Vesper Martini” recipe, a crafty promotional stunt for Ketel One Vodka and Tanqueray Gin. For a Thai twist, the martini gets a hit of lychee liqueur, and we think this classic lychee martini comes pretty close to the fake resort’s real cocktail.

Vesper Martini
You also can’t go wrong with the original, lychee-free Vesper Martini, which is bracing in all the right ways. The classic James Bond-endorsed martini can be made with either Lillet Blanc or Cocchi Americano—you can’t mess it up. We don’t know what it is about a martini that feels like vacation, but it just does.

Krung Thep Cobbler
This colorful, orchid-topped cocktail is subtly spicy thanks to whole green cardamom pods muddled in with the fruit (see, wellness!). The Krung Thep Cobbler also features lychee, palm sugar syrup, grapefruit and a splash of creamy coconut milk.
