7-Eleven Celebrates National Donut Day With Irresistible 50-Cent Deal

7-Eleven is offering an extra sweet deal to celebrate National Donut Day: 50-cent glazed donuts.

For one day only, 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards members can grab a classic glazed donut for just 50 cents at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes locations. National Donut Day is celebrated on June 6, 2025.

“At 7-Eleven, bakery is all about delivering a delicious, fresh experience that fits seamlessly into our customers’ busy lives,” Brandon Brown, senior vice president of Fresh Foods at 7-Eleven Inc., said in a press release. “We’re committed to delivering fresh, high-quality options that help make breakfast time more enjoyable, offering our customers more reasons to choose 7-Eleven as part of their morning routine.”

However, if customers can’t make the one-day donut deal, savings are still to be had throughout June. Until the 24th of the month, the store’s patrons can still partake in the sweet dessert treats for just $1 at participating locations.

Additionally, the quick-service business also offers savory options, including a BOGO deal at Speedy Café, where grilled Breakfast Wraps are made for sharing. These fast meals are made with eggs, melted cheese, and the choice of sausage or bacon.

7-Eleven Remains a Staple in the Convenience Retail Landscape

7-Eleven has long been a staple in the convenience retail landscape, beloved by customers for its quick, affordable, and satisfying food options. Its journey began in 1927 when an employee of the Southland Ice Company in Dallas, Texas, started selling essentials like milk and bread alongside ice, laying the groundwork for what would become the modern convenience store. The name was subsequently adopted in 1946 to reflect the store’s extended hours of operation, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. per CSP Daily News.

For almost 100 years, 7-Eleven has been a leader in convenience food innovations that have since become industry standards. It was the first retailer to offer coffee to-go in 1964. The introduction of the Slurpee in 1965 and the Big Gulp in 1979 further cemented its place in American culture, offering unique and affordable beverage options.

EMarketer reports that the brand’s commitment to value is evident in its pricing strategy. A recent survey found that price and value are the top winners regarding prepared food purchases at convenience stores, cited by 44% of consumers. By offering quality food at competitive prices, the retailer meets the needs of budget-conscious customers seeking quick meal solutions.

A YouGov poll found that 63% of U.S. adults had a positive opinion of 7-Eleven in Q1 2025, making it America’s favorite quick-stop grocery store. Specifically, 67% of millennials expressed a positive view of the retailer.

7-Eleven’s enduring appeal lies in its ability to adapt to changing consumer needs while maintaining a focus on convenience, affordability, and innovation. From its humble beginnings in Dallas to becoming a global leader, 7-Eleven continues to be a go-to destination for customers seeking quick and value-driven convenience store options.
