Vietnam, China sign over 40 cooperation agreements during Xi’s visit
Vietnam and China have signed over 40 cooperation pacts, as visiting Chinese President Xi Jinping cautioned that ‘protectionism will lead nowhere’ and that a trade war would produce ‘no winner’. The pacts cover customs inspection and quarantine, and agricultural trade. Xi said both sides should jointly oppose bullying practices, and work to maintain the stability of industrial and supply chains.
