THE WHAT? Supergoop Founder, Holly Thaggard has announced that she is relinquishing her role as Chairwoman and taking on a new role as Strategic Advisor to pursue ‘new ventures and spend more time with her family’.
THE DETAILS In her new role, Thaggard will have less day-to-day involvement in the brand but will continue to champion the sun care line. According to a report published by Business of Fashion, a timeline has not been given for the transition and Thaggard’s successor is yet to be named.
THE WHY? Lisa Sequino, Supergoop CEO, wrote in an internal memo, per Business of Fashion, “This transition reflects the strength of our foundation and our readiness to scale to even greater heights.”
