US Upland cotton sales rise 38%, Pima declines sharply: USDA
US net sales of Upland cotton for the 2024–25 season reached 83,200 RB, up 38 per cent from the prior week but down 23 per cent from the four-week average. Major buyers included Vietnam and Turkiye. Export shipments totalled 204,700 RB, down 13 per cent week-on-week. Pima sales hit a marketing-year low. For 2025–26, forward sales surged, led by Vietnam, El Salvador, and Honduras.
