Turkiye’s trade sales volume up 9.6% in April, textiles retail slumps
Turkiye’s trade sales volume rose 9.6 per cent year-on-year in April 2025, driven by strong retail trade growth, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute. However, monthly trade activity declined by 3.1 per cent, with wholesale trade falling 6.1 per cent. Notably, retail sales of textiles, clothing, and footwear dropped 18.4 per cent YoY and 4.3 per cent MoM.
