The Entertainer has unveiled its biggest-ever price drop across hundreds of its best-selling toys and games.
Prices have been slashed across 784 toys in stores and online, including popular products such as its Hot Wheels 5 cars pack, Minecraft stone sword roleplay toy, and its Mega Bloks first builders big building bag.
Other best-sellers that have been reduced include its Lego city F1 pit stop & pit crew Ferrari car construction set, Lego Fortnite supply llama construction set, and its Barbie gymnastics playset.
The Entertainer group chief executive officer Andrew Murphy said: “At The Entertainer we monitor prices across our competitors every day, so that our customers can shop with confidence and benefit from great prices as well as great quality.
“We hope that announcing our biggest ever price drop across such a large part of our range – almost 800 of our best-selling lines – should simplify shopping choices for families right across the UK.”
He added: “We understand that many household budgets are still under huge pressure, and we want to help them stretch as far as possible, providing unbeatable value to our customers whether shopping in our stores or online.”
In September, The Entertainer appointed Brian Proctor as its chief product officer, as it sought to bolster its top team and eyed international growth.
Last month, the retailer revealed it was expanding its partnership with Tesco into over 2,000 of its Express stores. Murphy told Retail Gazette last year that its tie-up with the grocery giant could “double our business”.
