THE WHAT? Target is launching over 10,000 new summer-themed items, including a significant assortment of beauty and personal care products, as part of its expansive “Hello Summer” campaign—complete with weekly in-store events, exclusive deals, and prices starting at just US$1.

THE DETAILS Rolling out now through August, Target’s “Hello Summer” campaign includes thousands of exclusive items across categories like beauty, skincare, and sun protection—many under US$20. Key highlights for the personal care segment include a new curated “Sun Shop” featuring suncare for all ages and seasonal travel-size beauty essentials via the “Build Your Beach Bag” stations. The promotion runs alongside “Hello Summer Saturdays,” in-store events every Saturday in June featuring giveaways and exclusive Target Circle offers such as 20% off sunscreen and Favorite Day treats. Additionally, a summer sale from May 18–26 will offer up to 50% off suncare, swimwear, and seasonal beauty.

THE WHY?  As consumers seek value-driven ways to enjoy seasonal moments, Target is tapping into demand for affordable yet trend-driven personal care and beauty offerings. By combining immersive shopping experiences with aggressive promotions and nostalgic coastal styling, the retailer aims to drive foot traffic, deepen loyalty via Target Circle, and maintain its competitive edge in the mass retail beauty space.
