Terminal 1 at Delhi Airport to fully reopen on April 15, 2025
Delhi International Airport Ltd. (DIAL) has announced that Terminal 1 (T1) at Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) will resume full operations from April 15, 2025, marking the completion of its Phase 3A expansion. As part of this plan, flights from Terminal 2 (T2) will be shifted to T1 while T2 undergoes renovations. This is a key step in modernising the airport to improve overall passenger experience and operational efficiency. Terminal 2, which handles approximately 270-280 air traffic movements daily and serves more than 46,000 passengers, will close temporarily for refurbishment in April.
