Sumitomo & Skovgaard launch Denmark biogas, e-SAF venture
Sumitomo Corp and Skovgaard Energy have formed North Sky A/S to produce 40 million Nm³ of biogas annually—meeting the gas needs of 20,000 Danish homes—and expand biogas sites. The JV will also develop e-SAF using biomass CO2 and green hydrogen. This marks Sumitomo’s first biogas venture, supporting Denmark’s carbon neutrality and advancing its energy solutions strategy.
