Single‐Atom Co Meets Remote Fe for a Synergistic Boost in Oxygen Electrocatalysis (Adv. Energy Mater. 21/2025)
Advanced Energy Materials, Volume 15, Issue 21, June 3, 2025.

Oxygen Electrocatalysis
In article number 2500617, Fanpeng Meng, Huayang Zhang, Haibo Li, and co-workers constructed a single-atom/nanoparticle composite catalyst featuring atomically dispersed Co-N4 sites and remote Fe-based nanoparticles through a coordination-selective strategy. The long-range electronic interactions between Co and Fe species optimize oxygen electrocatalysis kinetics, leading to excellent oxygen reduction and evolution reactions activities and superior zinc-air battery performance with high energy efficiency and long-term stability.
