Rio Tinto begins search for new CEO as Stausholm prepares to step down

Global mining group Rio Tinto has launched a formal succession process following the announcement on Thursday that CEO Jakob Stausholm will step down later this year. He will remain CEO and a member of the board until a successor is appointed, with the nominations committee leading the selection process.
