Policy response key to assessing impact of events in Turkiye: Fitch
Stronger external buffers, including improved international reserves and reduced forex contingent liabilities, have underpinned the strengthening of Turkiye’s sovereign credit profile amid a more conventional and consistent policy mix since 2023, Fitch Ratings said. It believes Turkiye can manage the current volatility level. It is unclear how and when the political uncertainty might end, it said.
