McDonald’s Introduces New Menu Item: Hershey’s S’mores McFlurry Coming June 10
McDonald's has announced a new McFlurry hitting its summer menu in June.

Fans of the Golden Arches and all that they represent may soon have a reason to cool off as summer begins in earnest. According to the McDonald’s corporate website, the red-and-yellow brand is kicking off the hottest season of the year in style with the launch of a Hershey’s S’mores McFlurry.
“It’s time to gather around the campfire because summer just got sweeter. Introducing, Hershey’s S’mores McFlurry: our newest McFlurry flavor made with our classic vanilla soft serve, blended with Hershey’s Milk Chocolate, graham crackers and marshmallows — perfect for making the hot days a little cooler,” McDonald’s wrote of the incoming dessert, which is available nationwide starting June 10.
According to Cleveland.com, the new twist on a classic campfire treat will be offered in both regular and snack sizes and is one of the many limited-time offers currently sweeping the quick-service restaurant business. Part of the broader summer menu refresh being undertaken by McDonald’s, the news surrounding the release of the Hershey’s S’mores McFlurry was prefaced by the dramatic reintroduction of the iconic Snack Wrap, slated to hit restaurants in July.

Fans React to McDonald’s New McFlurry
Attached to the comments of McDonald’s Senior Marketing Director Guillaume Huin’s post on X, fans raved about the incoming frozen, sugary snack.
“You have just ruined my summer body,” YouTuber Wendy O. wrote.
“Does it matter though since this will make you summer happy?” Huin replied.
Other comments were related to the notion of pairing the new McFlurry with the Snack Wrap — “This will still be out when the snack wrap comes back right?” one user plaintively asked alongside a meme — as well as more than a few jokes about the McDonald’s ice cream machines being broken just in time for the launch.
A handful of complaints were also in evidence, including the perceived smaller size of contemporary McFlurry treats and quality concerns over the dessert’s preparation in recent days.
The launch of the new McFlurry follows a highly successful Minecraft Happy Meal promotion — for both kids and adults — launched in conjunction with the release of “A Minecraft Movie” in April.
