Martin Thibodeau joins Reitmans board to drive technology strategy

Thibodeau, a technology executive with over three decades of experience in information technology within the retail sector, will bring his expertise to support the company's strategic business objectives. Commenting on the new board appointment, executive chairman of the board, Stephen Reitman, said, “As a Board, we identified the need to bring on a new board member with extensive technology expertise, and with Martin's deep experience in IT and fashion retail, he will support us in achieving our strategic business objectives." Prior to this appointment, Thibodeau held senior leadership positions at companies such as Groupe Dynamite, Indigo Books & Music, Laura Canada, and Limited Brands Canada. He currently serves as SVP and chief information officer at Rona and is a board member at Centraide. "We are confident that Martin's perspective and strong leadership track record will be instrumental as we continue to roll out our multi-year strategy designed for the future," added president and CEO of RCL, Andrea Limbardi.
