India’s index of industrial production up 2.7% YoY in Apr 2025: Govt
India’s index of industrial production (IIP) grew by 2.7 per cent YoY in April and by 3 per cent YoY in March, quick official estimates show. It stood at 152 in April against 148 in April 2024. The manufacturing IIP grew by 3.4 per cent YoY to 149.5 in April. Within manufacturing, 16 out of 23 industry groups at national industrial classification 2 digit-level saw a positive YoY growth in April.
