How ‘a touch of celebration’ defines Cava Jaume Serra
J García Carrión is known for its high-quality Cava. Here, db takes a closer look at Jaume Serra and the Bouquet range to see what it has to offer. Nestled on a hillside in Vilanova i la Geltrú, only five kilometres from the Mediterranean Sea, Jaume Serra is more than a winery – it is a story of heritage, innovation and international reach. Rooted in the historic El Padruell estate, dating back to 1647, this is the closest Cava cellar to the sea. Central to the offering is the Bouquet range – a collection of Cavas designed not only to taste exceptional, but also to be visually unforgettable. Originally conceived for gift-giving occasions, this premium Cava has grown beyond its seasonal appeal to become a sparkling wine that offers everyday joy. “Among Jaume Serra’s most iconic offerings is the Bouquet range. With its distinctive, floral-embossed bottle, Bouquet brings sophistication, emotion and a touch of celebration to the table,” explains Luciano García Carrión, vice president at J García Carrión. For Jaume Serra, any moment can be worth celebrating. And that belief is summed up by the brand’s simple, universal mantra that focuses on the phrase: “Let’s celebrate anything.” Inside the bottle, Bouquet Brut and Bouquet Rosé offer bright, expressive Cavas crafted through the traditional method and aged on lees to build texture and finesse. As García Carrión points out, although the wines are “available in more than 150 countries and backed by a pioneering spirit, Jaume Serra is shaping the future of Cava – one celebration at a time”. Read on for tasting notes supplied by J García Carrión.
