Haute Living’s Haute Leaders Dinner: A Night At Zucca Miami

Haute Living hosted an exclusive Haute Leaders dinner at Zucca Miami, where guests gathered to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine and celebrate the legacy of hospitality visionary Erasmo Da Silva.

Founded in 2017 by the Da Silva Hospitality Group, Zucca is the U.S. crown jewel of a family business that began in Venezuela and traces its roots to Jose Da Silva, a Portuguese dreamer who arrived in South America in the 1950s with ambition and heart. Under the leadership of his son, Erasmo Da Silva, the group evolved from a legacy of hospitality into a global culinary enterprise, with thriving restaurants in Venezuela, Portugal, and the United States.

Erasmo’s expansion to Miami was not taken lightly. It took 36 months of intense market research, gastronomic exploration, and competitive analysis before Zucca welcomed its first guests. The result of that approach? A dining experience that blends old-world authenticity with contemporary sophistication, earning the restaurant numerous accolades for its elevated cuisine, gracious service, and award-winning wine cellar.

Guests from Haute Beauty, Haute Residence, Haute Design, and Haute Lawyer networks were welcomed. Notable attendees included Dr. Nirmal Nathan, Priscilla Hailey, Robert Elias, Gavin Elliott, Dr. Jose Rodríguez-Feliz, Giovanna Guzman, and more.

The evening began with a selection of shared appetizers, including Italian salumeria and cheese wood board, peppery arugula salad with artichokes and fresh shaved Parmesan, and delicate fried zucchini flowers stuffed with mozzarella.

For the main course, guests chose from several standout options: homemade ravioli stuffed with pumpkin, sautéed in a light butter and sage sauce; paccheri pasta with veal and mushrooms, rich with a reduction of veal stock; grilled beef tenderloin medallions, perfectly cooked and served with roasted potatoes; or sea bream fillet, gently simmered in a fragrant guazzetto sauce.

To end the meal on a sweet note, dessert offerings included Zucca’s classic homemade tiramisu, a rotating ice cream of the day, and expertly brewed Italian coffee.
