Global textile machinery shipments in 2024 showed a mixed trend. Short-staple spindles and open-end rotors declined sharply by 40 per cent and 39 per cent, while long-staple spindles rose 62 per cent. Draw-texturing spindles surged, and shuttle-less loom shipments grew 32 per cent. Large circular knitting machines fell 15 per cent, but flat knitting machines rose 16 per cent.
