Giyani ships battery-grade manganese to potential offtakers
TSX-listed Giyani Metals has made the first shipment of high-purity manganese oxide (HPMO) samples, from its demonstration plant in Johannesburg, to multiple potential offtakers for testing and qualification. Giyani notes that HPMO is a precursor material for the production of high-purity manganese sulphate monohydrate (HPMSM), adding that production of HPMSM is targeted for the third quarter of this year, to be followed by offtake qualification trials.
