Developing Asia and Pacific’s growth to ease to 4.9% in 2025: ADB
Developing Asia and the Pacific are forecast to grow 4.9 per cent in 2025 and 4.7 per cent in 2026, says ADB. Inflation is set to ease to 2.3 per cent and 2.2 per cent, respectively. Risks include US policy shifts, rising tariffs, and China’s slowing property market. Stronger growth in South and Southeast Asia, plus tourism recovery, will help offset regional challenges.
