[Comment] Safely lowering triglycerides through ANGPTL4 inhibition
Since the beginning of the statin-era 30 years ago, LDL cholesterol has been the primary lipid drug target in prevention of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD). However, residual risk persists despite LDL cholesterol intervention with statins, and elevated triglycerides and remnant cholesterol have been identified as important risk factors for ASCVD.1
