Marking the Project Runway alums' first foray in the accessories category, the PALU Icon design sees the designer apply his sharp tailoring skills to handbags. Handmade in New York City from premium leather sourced from an LWG Gold Certified tannery, the top-handle bag aims to strike a balance between modern function and timeless design. Center to the handbag's design is a faceted snakehead, inspired by Palu's own engagement ring, symbolizing transformation, sensuality, and personal power.  "This bag was created out of a need," said Christopher Palu in a statement. "I wanted something that solved the chaos of daily life without sacrificing elegance. This bag is our love letter to the chic women of New York. It's meant to look like a classic, but work like a modern essential." "This is the first bag of its kind to open like this—redefining innovation, functionality, and wearable art. This isn't just a bag, it's history in the making." To mark the launch of the PALU Icon, Christopher Palu will be hosting an event at the Oases, New York, on May 23.
