Ecobat Battery, the UK’s largest battery distributor, has just completed the second phase of a major piece of infrastructure work for a 404 megawatt combined gas turbine power station for the National Grid of Ireland. The project, the second phase of a two-stage process, began on 7 October and the time critical undertaking had to be completed within two weeks, while Huntstown power station, operated by Energia, was closed for routine maintenance.
Leading UK packaging distributor Kite Packaging has expanded its product range with collapsible plastic pallet boxes. Designed to enhance storage, transport, and logistics efficiency across various industries, these pallet boxes offer durability, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness within supply chains. Built with a three-part structure comprising a lid, sleeve, and pallet, these collapsible pallet boxes can be disassembled and stored compactly when not in use.
Hörmann Transdek have launched a new video showcasing the operational benefits of their range of Dock Lifts. Featuring a recently completed installation for Storage Works in Birmingham, the video demonstrates the operation of a standard dock lift fitted within a loading bay. The new dock lift provides Storage Works with a safe and efficient solution for transporting goods from ground level of the loading bay to the raised floor of their storage facility, according to our loading bay feature.
