White Castle and Heelys Launch Iconic Nostalgia-Fueled Collaboration
White Castle has partnered with sneaker brand Heelys for a unique collaboration.

White Castle has partnered with Heelys to launch a limited-edition collection of White Castle-branded Heelys shoes.
The original wheeled sneaker’s collaboration with the legendary fast-food restaurant is currently available on Heelys’ website. These new, branded shoes are named “White Castle Slider Riders.”
Heelys are versatile sneakers designed with a hidden twist: removable wheels in the heels. With a quick shift of weight, wearers can go from walking to rolling in seconds. Pop the wheels out, and they transform back into regular shoes.
The first in the limited-run collaboration is a black sneaker. They feature orange detailing on the sides of the shoe, with the words “Follow Your Crave” emblazoned on the side. The footwear comes with a blue rubber wheel and ABEC 5 wheel bearings.
The second has a color palette that resembles White Castle’s facade. White sneakers are highlighted with blue and orange accents. This shoe, too, has “Follow Your Crave” on the side as well as a blue rubber wheel and identical ABEC 5 wheel bearings as the black shoe.
This is a limited-edition drop, so fans are encouraged to get these shoes before they’re gone. Both the lighter white version and the darker black version are available in sizes youth 13 to men’s 13 and cost $75 plus tax and applicable shipping fees.
“Just like our Sliders, these shoes are one-of-a-kind, craveable, and made for memorable moments,” Jamie Richardson, vice president at White Castle, said in a press release. “We’re always seeking fresh and fun ways to satisfy cravings beyond the menu. Partnering with Heelys to design these exclusive shoes does just that.”
Sara Arbelaez, social media and partnerships strategist at Heelys, added, “White Castle is a fun and authentic brand, so it’s been really exciting to work with them on this collaboration. The design turned out so well. We know White Castle Cravers are going to enjoy flaunting their love for Sliders wearing this unique and playful version of Heelys.”
What Other Types of Brand Collaborations Has White Castle Done?
White Castle continues to expand its brand through a series of innovative collaborations that blend pop culture, fashion, technology, and food.
The restaurant teamed up with Grammy-nominated artist Fat Joe in 2023 to launch the “Night Castle” clothing capsule. This collection included apparel and accessories inspired by street fashion and hip-hop culture, with proceeds benefiting the Renaissance Youth Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young people through music and education.
In 2021, the brand ventured into the digital art space by collaborating with Doodle Labs and media artist Che-Yu Wu to release the “Sliderverse” NFT collection. This series of unique digital artworks celebrated the brand’s heritage and innovation, with a portion of the proceeds supporting White Castle’s Team Member Relief Fund and Scholarship Fund.
In the beverage sector, White Castle partnered with Evil Genius Beer Company in 2022 to create “It Hits Different,” a limited-edition tangerine-infused IPA designed to pair perfectly with the chain’s signature sliders. This collaboration highlighted White Castle’s commitment to offering unique and craveable experiences for its customers.
These diverse collaborations show White Castle’s dedication to staying culturally relevant and engaging with its audience through creative partnerships that span various industries.
