Ciara at Isabel Mayfair

After her headline performance at Mighty Hoopla, global star Ciara hosted an intimate celebration at Isabel Mayfair. Guests, including Vanessa Kingori, Candice Brathwaite, Bianca Saunders and Tolu Coker, enjoyed Tequila Don Julio 1942 and Ciara’s own Ten to One dark rum, toasting to female empowerment. The evening featured vibrant seasonal dishes and concluded with mini bottles of 1942 gifted to each attendee.
Monkey Shoulder Records launches

To celebrate World Music Day, Monkey Shoulder opened Monkey Shoulder Records at the KEF Music Gallery in London. Blending the energy of a record shop with the ambience of a listening bar, the space includes vinyl curated by DJ Target, Katy B and Arthi Nachiappan, as well as contributions from record stores including Honest Jon’s, Eastern Bloc and Sister Ray. Guests enjoyed whisky cocktails tailored to different musical genres.

CMS milestone in Shanghai

The Court of Master Sommeliers will celebrate over 2,000 certifications awarded in Asia with a tasting and dinner at Shanghai’s Okura Garden Hotel this July. Since its launch in China in 2006, the CMS has expanded throughout Asia, raising standards and global recognition of sommelier excellence.
Santa Julia’s legacy

Julia Zuccardi may have grown into her role as head of hospitality at Santa Julia, but the name came first, bestowed on the winery by her father when she was just ten. Today, it is Argentina’s largest organic wine producer, underpinned by a social mission shaped by her late grandmother, Emma, who introduced on-site education, sewing workshops, and daycare for vineyard workers.
Pere Ventura at the Savoy

At the Wine Room of the Savoy Grill, Pere Ventura, whose business card simply reads ‘I am’, led an intimate tasting showcasing back vintages of his acclaimed Cavas, marking the launch of a new visual identity featuring a chequered motif symbolising legacy and self-challenge. Joined by co-founder and partner in life, Mireia Juvé, and International Director, Nicolas Bertino, and with service led by Thierry Tomasin MCA, the event highlighted wines of terroir, precision and longevity, including Tresor Gran Reserva 2010.
