We have an ambitious goal of $1bn (GBP 740m/EUR 880m) global [revenue] by 2030. By investing in our people, processes and infrastructure and innovating together, we will create a firm that is fit for the future. I’m really excited for what lies ahead at Kennedys.
— John Bruce, senior partner at Kennedys, in comments given in a recent press release concerning the firm’s record revenue of $551 million. In an interview with Law.com International, Bruce went on to note he thought it was a “shame” that U.S. firms were scaling back their diversity programming, saying, “Obviously, let other firms do what they want to do, but we firmly believe that the more diverse your workforce, the more and better ideas you have, and that reflects better decision-making. So we’re happy with the path we’re on.” Kennedys now has 12 U.S. offices, which saw a 22% revenue increase.
