Primark is set to open its second standalone homewares store this summer in Manchester’s Trafford Centre.
The new two-storey 11,900sq ft space, located in the Palazzo, will house the high street giant’s most popular homeware items, including bedding, towels, ceramics and small furniture, as well as its new elevated Edit collection.
It will also include a dedicated travel shop, where customers can shop the retailer’s range of suitcases and other travel essentials.
The new Manchester store follows the March opening of Primark Home in Belfast, Northern Ireland, the retailer’s first ever standalone homewares store.
Primark trading director for home Paul Baldwin said: “Our mission is simple: to make it easy for everyone to create a home they love, without breaking the bank.
“Customer reaction to our first Primark Home store in Belfast has been really positive, and we can’t wait to bring this exciting new concept to Great Britain later this summer.
“Homes have become more than just places to live, they’re an extension of our personalities, so whether it’s soft furnishings, statement tableware, or smart storage solutions you’re after, our range has something for every style and budget.”
Primark completed the rollout of its click and collect service across all 187 stores across Great Britain at the end of last month following a success trial back in 2022.
The retailer said the service means that shoppers at the company’s smallest store in Hamilton, Scotland, will have access to more than three times the in-store range, with more than 5,000 products available via click and collect.
