Hypertherm Associates will be showcasing decades of market leadership with OMAX advanced abrasive waterjet systems. Advanced waterjet engineering expertise and multiple machine technology will be on display at EASTEC 2025 from May 13-15, 2025 at the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield, Mass.
EASTEC attendees can go to booth #1206 for live demonstrations of the MAXIEM® 1530 JetMachining Center that delivers versatile, easy to use machining from prototype development to full-scale production and equipped with the IntelliMAX® Software Suite. They will also receive opportunities to have application questions answered by the company’s waterjet experts on-site.
With a cutting envelope of 10′ x 5′ 2″ (3.045 m x 1.57 m), OMAX’s MAXIEM 1530 cuts complex parts out of most materials, including metal, plastic, glass, ceramic, stone and composites. Like all abrasive waterjet machines, the MAXIEM 1530 cuts smooth surface finishes and eliminates the need for secondary machining. The MAXIEM 1530 comes standard with the company’s exclusive IntelliMAX Software Suite.
In a continuing effort to support customers implementing Smart Factory processes and digitalization, the company will also feature two robust technology tools that provide operational insights and streamline part ordering for machine owners and operators. The OMAX Utilization and Maintenance Dashboards monitor and collect key machine data including usage data, projected garnet consumption and anticipated maintenance needs to inform decision making and optimize processes.
Visitors will also see demonstrations on the company’s OMAX Order application for part ordering accuracy on both iOS and Android platforms. OMAX Order helps customers identify the parts needed for a specific machine and ensure spares and maintenance kits are always available to minimize downtime from part failure. The app harnesses the power of e-commerce and integrates seamlessly with OMAX marketplace for ordering and fulfillment. The new tool allows OMAX abrasive waterjet system owners to optimize their investment, avoid unplanned downtime and reduce operating costs.
