Olive Garden Cranks Up the Heat With New Spicy Sauce and Bucatini This Summer

Just in time for summer, Olive Garden is heating things up with bold new flavors and a fresh pasta offering that promises to please adventurous palates and loyal fans alike.

According to Parade, starting this week, Olive Garden’s Create Your Own Pasta menu welcomes a fiery new player: the Spicy Three-Meat Sauce. Crafted fresh daily like all of the restaurant’s signature sauces, this zesty option combines chili flakes, cherry peppers, red bell pepper, pepperoni, red wine, garlic, herbs, and homemade meat sauce. It delivers just the right balance of heat and depth — perfect for spice lovers and curious diners looking to shake up their summer meal routine.

This new sauce arrives alongside the first pasta shape addition in nearly seven years: Bucatini. Thicker than spaghetti and uniquely hollow, bucatini is ideal for soaking up the robust, spicy sauce from the inside out, offering a textural and flavorful twist on classic Italian comfort food.

All About the Olive Garden Spicy Menu

The Create Your Own Pasta menu now includes:

  • Pasta options: New Bucatini, Rigatoni, Angel Hair, Spaghetti, and Gluten-Free Rotini
  • Sauce options: New Spicy Three-Meat, Marinara, Meat Sauce, Five Cheese Marinara, and Creamy Mushroom
  • Protein upgrades (additional charge): Meatballs, Italian Sausage, Crispy Chicken Fritta, Grilled Chicken, Sautéed Shrimp, and Broccoli

Each order starts at $12.99 and includes Olive Garden’s legendary never-ending breadsticks and a choice of soup or salad.

And the flavor innovation doesn’t stop there. Starting July 7, guests can try the Calabrian Steak and Shrimp Bucatini — a premium entrée that pairs grilled sirloin tips, shrimp, and bucatini in a spicy Calabrian cream sauce featuring spinach, tomatoes, white wine, and Olive Garden’s classic Marinara. This dish channels the heat of southern Italy and will be available through Aug. 25.

Nationwide Delivery Service

In addition to in-restaurant dining, Olive Garden is celebrating its newly expanded nationwide delivery service. Orders can be placed at the company website or through the Olive Garden app, and for a limited time, customers can receive free delivery by using the code OGDELIVERS at checkout — valid for the first one million users.

“As of May 12, Olive Garden is giving away free delivery on 1 million orders to celebrate our newest nationwide delivery service,” said Jaime Bunker, SVP of marketing, exclusively to RetailWire. “We understand our guests don’t always have time to dine in, and this service brings our freshly baked breadsticks and scratch-made sauces straight to their door.”

Whether you’re dining in or enjoying a night at home, Olive Garden is making it easier — and spicier — than ever to enjoy your favorite Italian classics.
