The expansion is part of the company’s broader efforts to grow its presence and market share in the region. The new 28,000 square foot store will be situated in Pompano Citi Center, a shopping center that includes retailers such as TJ Maxx, Burlington and Ross Dress for Less. "We're thrilled to welcome Nordstrom Rack to Pompano Citi Centre," said Bob Dake, Principal at Sterling Organization, owner and manager of Pompano Citi Center. "Their presence adds tremendous value to our tenant mix and further strengthens our commitment to creating a dynamic, high-quality experience for the community." The new store sees Nordstrom, Inc. expand its physical footprint and economic impact across the state of Florida. It currently operates six Nordstrom stores and 19 Nordstrom Rack stores in Florida, providing more than 2,700 jobs statewide.
