First Mustang GTD Window Sticker In the Wild Shows a $327,960 Starting Price
Most expected the Ford Mustang GTD to cost more than $300,000, but there hasn’t been a confirmation of that price in the time since the car’s announcement. We now have that confirmation, as an owner has reached out to Car and Driver to share their new GTD’s window sticker, which shows a starting price of $327,960 before options.

That price includes a $5,500 delivery fee and a $3,700 gas-guzzler tax. Given some of the options we know are available, this build is pretty basic, with only a few add-ons. The owner opted for a $1,500 carbon brake package and a $10,000 carbon roof, but it lacks heavier options, such as the aero package with a drag reduction system.
It might be a while before we see another GTD window sticker, if ever, so the prices of some of the flashier available options may remain a mystery. Ford offers a custom paint option for the car, similar to Porsche’s Paint-to-Sample program, and buyers can pay extra for a one-off color not available on any other customer order.

The owner told C/D that he plans to drive the car and that it wouldn’t languish away in a garage. He wants to take the GTD on a road trip from Virginia to California, visiting tracks along the way. How long do you think the Mustang GTD-leaving-car-show videos start to hit TikTok when other cars reach owners’ hands?
