May Indian econ activity growth slow; IIP growth likely 1.5-2.5%: ICRA
The YoY growth in India’s economic activity slowed to 6.5 per cent in May this year from 7.8 per cent in April amid a deterioration across 10 of the 15 constituent indicators, ICRA said. The growth in core sector output decelerated in May, touching a nine-month low of 0.7 per cent. The index of industrial production is likely to have grown by a muted 1.5-2.5 per cent in May.
