Madhappy opens debut flagship store in NYC Credits: Madhappy Los Angeles-based apparel brand Madhappy is set to open its debut flagship store in New York City this weekend, marking its first permanent retail location in the city. Located in the heart of Nolita, the 1,800-square-foot brick-and-mortar store is the brand’s second store to open in the United States following the opening of its first store in West Hollywood, Los Angeles. The opening also comes on the heels of a series of seasonal pop-up stores in key cities like East Hampton, Miami, Chicago, and Tokyo, Japan. Interior of Madhappy debut flaghship store in NYC Credits: Madhappy Developed in collaboration with PlayLab, Inc., the new store serves as a showcase for Madhappy’s brand aesthetic and features its signature materials, like blue dyed concrete, brushed aluminum, ceramic tile, and douglas fir. The location will offer the brand’s latest drops, including its recent Guest In Residence collaboration with Gigi Hadid. The flagship store will also house Madhappy’s café concept, Pantry, which features a daily menu created with local and global culinary partners. For example, Tokyo-based café Hotel Cafe will bring a refined espresso and tea program alongside a seasonal menu co-curated, while Sofreh, the Brooklyn eatery by James Beard–nominated chef Nasim Alikhani, will offer Persian pastries and baked goods that reflect her innovative approach to traditional Iranian cuisine. To mark the opening, Madhappy will debut in-store exclusive capsule collections celebrating New York icons such as the Yankees, Mets, and Lucali Pizza. Located at 207 Mulberry Street, the new Madhappy flagship store will open on June 7.
