Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2025 Collection Takes Us On A Fashion Adventure

The Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2025 collection has officially closed out this season’s Paris Fashion Week. Set in L’Étoile du Nord, a secret train station that preserves the excitement of 19th-century rail travel, this space served as the inspiration and quintessential location to debut Nicolas Ghesquière’s collection that explores the story of transportation through the dual meaning of the word, which is that of adventure and enchantment. Delving into the exhilaration of travel, the new collection reveals that rush of anonymous feelings, while the concourse becomes the setting for a multitude of stylistic narratives.

Paying tribute to the House’s roots, this collection reprises a chapter devoted to its iconic luggage with a group of soft-sided bags that accompany this theme focusing on the evolution of travel. Like the enduring Keepall, whose timeless shape announces L’Express, a new style for the brand defined by soft colors and fine lines.

Models make their way down the runway in a wide range of looks: translucent trench outerwear is worn on top of ruffle-collared blouses paired with barrow-like cargo pants and leather cargo shorts. Neutral palettes of black, white, browns, and khaki are punctuated with vibrant splashes of bright reds and greens. Utilitarian sport jackets emblazoned with the House name are worn with ruching maxi skirts and dark blue washed denim jeans. Checkered ponchos, shimmering furs, a feather wrap coat, and a poncho mini dress serve as innovative and unique pieces for the collection amongst ruffle-adorned and floral dresses. Oversized sweaters with shoulder pads play an integral role for knitwear. Shoes are leather loafers framed with shearling, metal-toed boots, furry slide sandals, and fold over woven boots.

This season, the House collaborated with the legendary electro group Kraftwerk, whose influence continues to inspire contemporary sound. The cover of the iconic album Trans-Europe Express can be found on some looks, and that emblematic title permeates the spirit of the Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2025 collection.
