India’s Meghalaya state to set up textile hub in Nongpoh
India’s Meghalaya state government is coming up with a textile hub in Nongpoh. A gamut of textile-related activities at the hub will include spaces for weavers and artisans to showcase their products, state textiles minister Paul Lyngdoh said. Visitors can witness the colouring and dying process there. Some big players have approached the state government with collaboration offers, he added.
