India imposes ADD on linear alkyl benzene imports from Iran & Qatar
India’s DGTR has recommended a five-year anti-dumping duty (ADD) on imports of linear alkyl benzene (LAB) from Iran and Qatar, following a petition by Nirma Ltd and Tamilnadu Petroproducts Ltd. The investigation found LAB was dumped at unfairly low prices, causing significant injury to the domestic industry. Duties range from $14 to $62 per metric tonne, based on exporter and origin.
