DCCI decries exclusive port rent exemption for Bangladesh RMG industry
Trade body DCCI has said that the port store rent exemption only for imported raw materials used in Bangladesh’s readymade garment industry will create disparity among industries. Without improving the supply chain, proper logistics management at the Chattogram port and sound communication infrastructure, a mere four-fold rise in store rent will raise the cost of doing business, DCCI lamented.
