Vietnam’s consumer price index edges up by 0.34% MoM, 2.81% YoY in Feb
Vietnam’s consumer price index rose by 0.34 per cent month on month (MoM) and by 2.91 per cent YoY in February. Nine groups of goods and services saw price hikes, of which transportation saw the largest rise of 0.63 per cent. The apparel-hats-footwear category was the only category of goods that saw a downturn in price. Core inflation in February rose by 0.3 per cent MoM and by 2.87 per cent YoY.
