Trader Joe’s Beloved Bakery Brand Drops Whisky-Infused Kringle For Father’s Day

One of Trader Joe’s most beloved bakery brands is bringing a whisky-infused Kringle to its shoppers just in time for Father’s Day, June 15, 2025.

The beloved dessert, made by O&H Danish Bakery, will arrive fresh and ready to eat to celebrate dads everywhere.

Per the company’s Instagram page, the dessert is described as rich and flavorful. “We’ve partnered with The Glenrothes to create our Whisky Kringle!”

The description continues, “Our tender pastry is filled with a caramel infused with The Glenrothes Bourbon Cask Reserve whisky and then topped with buttery streusel. We coat it in a honey whisky glaze, add a touch of smoke, and finish it with a drizzle of vanilla icing.”

The company website goes into further detail about what makes this particular dessert so special. “Each Kringle takes a full three days to make and is hand crafted to enhance the fabulous flavors we have paired together. But you better get this small batch quickly, it’s only here a few weeks.”

The bakery item weighs upwards of 2 pounds. It can serve 12 people and retails for $26.99.

Will the Whisky-Infused Kringle Drop at Trader Joe’s?

Sadly, O&H Danish Bakery will not be shipping this particular flavor to Trader Joe’s stores nationwide. It is only available at the company’s baker locations or directly from the company online. O&H Danish Bakery has five standalone stores in Southeast Wisconsin with two- to three-day nationwide shipping.

However, while Trader Joe’s customers won’t be able to enjoy this particular Kringle flavor, the store currently rotates seasonal offerings of this fan-favorite dessert in and out of its stores. On sale now, to celebrate summer’s beginnings, is a fresh and fruity fan-favorite flavor.

The beloved Raspberry Kringle is currently on sale at all Trader Joe’s locations for just $9.99. The dessert features layers upon layers of flaky pastry dough and tart raspberry filling, and it’s finished with plenty of sweet icing.

Per a Reddit thread, Trader Joe’s rotates Kringle flavors throughout the year. Pecan flavor is available from January through February. Raspberry retails from March through the end of June.

Cheesecake is available from June through August, and Pumpkin is sold in Trader Joe’s stores from early September through mid to late October. The Kringle calendar finishes off with its Almond flavor, available from late October through December’s end.
