Syrah chairperson to retire by year-end
ASX-listed Syrah Resources said on Thursday that chairperson Jim Askew will retire from the company’s board of directors by December 31, after more than a decade of service. Askew, who joined the board in November 2014, has led the company through a period of major transformation, including the development and commissioning of its flagship Balama graphite operation in Mozambique and the Vidalia active anode material facility in Louisiana, US.
