Richard Caring, the restaurateur behind the likes of Sexy Fish, Bacchanalia and The Ivy, is turning what was once a wine bar by King's Cross Station into a new branch of Harry's.

Taking its inspiration from the famous Harry's Bar in Venice, where the likes of Orson Welles and Ernest Hemingway drank, although not actually affiliated with the original, there are currently Harry's restaurants in Marylebone, Victoria and Knightsbridge, offering a hodge podge of much-loved Italian-inspired dishes, including calamari, bistecca and pizza. Drinks include a selection of G&Ts, Peroni and Prosecco.
Those three sites are soon to become four with the opening of a new Harry's on 3 June. The venue, on 3 King's Boulevard, previously housed a Vinoteca wine bar.
"Just moments from the station, this stylish escape invites you to savour signature dishes like hand-stretched pizzas, indulgent pasta and the whimsical Toadstool dessert," the Harry's website explains. "At its heart, a generous sun-soaked terrace sets the scene for effortless alfresco dining, while the chic Venetian-inspired interior offers a warm, all-day retreat from breakfast through to nightfall."
