Five Below Merchandise Is Now Eligible for Delivery Via Uber Eats

Customers of teen-centric retailer Five Below can now get merchandise delivered via the Uber Eats app. Starting June 5, delivery is available from more than 1,500 Five Below stores nationwide.

From room décor and beauty products to trendy clothes and low-cost electronics, customers don’t have to leave the house to shop at the retailer. In addition, Uber One members can receive Five Below items the same day without a delivery fee.

“Five Below is a go-to destination for fun, trendy, and affordable products — and now, customers can get their favorites delivered on-demand,” explained Hashim Amin, head of grocery & retail for Uber Eats North America, in the press release. “Whether it’s a last-minute birthday gift, a Friday night snack haul, or just a spontaneous treat, we’re thrilled to unlock even more convenience and value through this exciting partnership.”

The partnership adds to the plethora of non-food and retail options for users of the Uber Eats app. Also available on the app are deliveries from Home Depot, Petco, and Sally Beauty.

Five Below Keeps Growing

On top of a new partnership with Uber Eats to increase customer exposure, the company also has plans to expand its store footprint. In the last quarter, which ended May 3, Five Below opened more than 50 new stores, with another 100 expected by the end of the year.

In addition to store openings, Five Below had strong financials in the first quarter. Climbing 19.5% compared to the same period last year, net sales reached $970.5 million. Same-store sales, which measure income for stores open at least 12 months, grew just over 7%.

“Our first quarter results demonstrate the effectiveness of our strategy, grounded in trend-right product, extreme value and a fun store experience,” said CEO Winnie Park in the earnings statement.

For fiscal 2025, Five Below predicts net sales between $4.33 billion and $4.42 billion. Comparable sales are expected to grow by 3% to 5%.

In regard to U.S. tariff policy, Park offered a positive message. According to the CEO, Five Below will remain committed to its “financial and operational objectives” by focusing on team efficiency and the customer experience as it adjusts to the “uncertainty in the current global trade environment.”
