Chobani Supercharges Plant-Based Offerings With Exciting Daily Harvest Acquisition

Daily Harvest has announced that they have joined the Chobani family of products.

In a press release, Ricky Silver, Daily Harvest’s CEO, shared the news: “I’m excited to share a new chapter in our journey. Daily Harvest is officially joining the Chobani family, a company whose values and vision beautifully align with our own. Like us, Chobani is deeply committed to nourishing people, uplifting communities, and using business as a force for good.”

“This acquisition is a natural next step — and one that we believe will bring even more goodness your way,” Silver continued. “At Daily Harvest, our mission has always been simple and powerful: to help you thrive through better access to organic, sustainably-grown fruits and vegetables.”

“Thanks to your support, we’ve grown and evolved our offering and made meaningful strides toward building a better food system — one that prioritizes health, nourishment, and clean food, the way nature intended,” he added.

The CEO assured Daily Harvest customers that the company’s products would remain the same after the acquisition, including its website and care team. However, Silver added that the merger will guarantee many new and exciting possibilities ahead.

“Fresh ideas, new innovations, and continued dedication to making your experience even better. We are so incredibly grateful to have you with us. Your support has made this moment possible, and we’re honored to keep growing alongside you,” Silver concluded.

Chobani Continues Its Growth Pattern

In April 2025, RetailWire reported that Chobani is continuing to expand and grow via a $1.2 billion yogurt plant in Rome, New York, within the Griffiss Business and Technology Park. Per Syracuse.com, the company plans to create 1,000 jobs for residents, thereby strengthening the local economy.

“Chobani has been a major employer in the Mohawk Valley for decades, and this massive new $1.2 billion investment will bring more than 1,000 good-paying jobs to Oneida County — the largest natural food manufacturing investment in American history,” Gov. Kathy Hochul said.

The company’s founder and CEO, Hamdi Ulukaya, said of the expansion in a statement, “New York is where Chobani’s journey began. It was the perfect spot to start Chobani 20 years ago, and it’s the perfect place to continue our story.”

The 1.4 million-square-foot facility in Rome will feature up to 28 production lines. The new plant is capable of processing over 12 million pounds of milk daily and producing more than 1 billion pounds of yogurt and other dairy products annually.

In March, the company announced plans to build a $500 million expansion in Twin Falls, Idaho. It is expected to create a minimum of 160 new jobs.
