Weekly US Upland cotton exports dip 45%; Pima sales plunge 79%: USDA
US weekly Upland cotton net sales dropped 45 per cent to 60,200 bales for 2024–25, with Vietnam and India leading purchases. Export shipments rose week-on-week but fell below the 4-week average. Pima sales fell sharply, down 79 per cent from the previous week. Major export destinations included Vietnam, Turkiye, Pakistan and India. For 2025–26, forward sales were strong.
