Vietnam’s industrial output up 9.4% in May, manufacturing leads gains
Vietnam’s index of industrial production (IIP) in May rose by an estimated 4.3 per cent month on month (MoM) and 9.4 per cent YoY. The index for manufacturing and processing rose by 11 per cent YoY in May. It rose by 8.8 per cent YoY in the first five months this year that saw manufacturing output rise YoY for casual wear, fabric made from natural fibres, leather shoes and sandals.
